Try two real lessons.
These samples come from the course. Use a private note for the exercise.
Day 1: Choose one buyer, one offer, one next step
We are going to make it easier for the right people to find what we sell and take a useful next step. A post view is attention. A recorded visit to the offer is traffic. An inquiry is a new relevant buying conversation. A sale is a confirmed purchase. Keep these separate. If our next step is a DM, destination visits stay not known; count each new relevant conversation once in the review period, not every message or follow-up.
For these 14 days, we choose one kind of buyer with one current problem, one existing offer and one next step. Being a mom or a single mom describes part of our life; it does not tell us what our customer needs. Our customer may be a homeowner needing a cleaner or a shopper needing a gift. We narrow the buying situation, not our worth or our whole business. The offer needs a clear price or quote process and a way for us to deliver it.
Pick one platform we already use and where our buyers have actually asked questions, bought, or followed local businesses. We will give this plan a small block of time, not every spare minute. Allow a few minutes to read, then plan a 20-minute action block. These are suggested time budgets, not tested completion times; stop at the end and resume where needed. If life interrupts it, use the ten-minute option and return to the next unfinished step. Fourteen days is the practice schedule, not a deadline for guaranteed visitors or sales. Our six core publishing assignments fall on Days 4, 5, 6, 9, 11 and 12. These are movable work slots, not mandatory daily posting. A ten-minute draft is useful progress; it does not count as a published post. We can extend the schedule without creating catch-up debt.
- Spend 4 minutes choosing one offer we can fulfill now. Write its price, service area if relevant and how someone buys or requests a quote.
- Spend 4 minutes finishing: Our buyer is ___ and right now they need ___. Describe a buying situation rather than everyone who might someday buy.
- Spend 4 minutes choosing one destination and one platform. Write: We help ___ with ___; the next step is ___ at ___.
- Spend 4 minutes writing the previous 7 days of available destination activity, new buying conversations and confirmed purchases in the baseline worksheet below. Include report name, exact dates, timezone and whether the report counts visits, sessions or unique visitors. Write not known when unavailable; use 0 only for measured zero. Do not place this seven-day total on a daily tracker row.
- Spend 4 minutes choosing a realistic 20-minute work block and a backup 10-minute block. Save the plan where we can find it tomorrow.
Your worksheet
Write your answers in a private note.
- Which one buyer, current problem and existing offer will we focus on?
- What exact action should a person take and where?
- What are our previous seven-day baseline counts, report/source, exact dates, timezone and units? What is not known, and when is our next work block?
Small version
In 10 minutes, write the buyer, offer, platform and destination in one sentence, then reserve tomorrow's work block. Mark missing baseline data not known.
Day 4: Publish one useful answer
Start here: choose one offer you already sell, one customer question about it and the next step a reader can take. A private draft is enough for this sample.
A useful post helps a buyer do one small thing or make one clearer decision. We will use a simple structure: the question, the answer, one example and the next step. If the answer needs ten unrelated tips, it is probably too broad for today's post. Save the extra ideas for later.
Choose the easiest format our buyers can use on our existing platform. We can write a short text post, take a product photo with a caption, or record a brief demonstration with captions. Faceless options include a hands-only demo, a screen recording of a nonprivate process, or text over our own product image. We do not need to buy props, change our brand, or wait for perfect lighting.
End with a small, relevant invitation: See what is included at the link, or Send the service area and job size to request a quote. Use the actual action our platform supports. For a caption without a clickable link, direct people to the profile link rather than pretending they can tap the text. Once the post is clear and truthful, publish it or save it ready for our chosen posting time.
For phone video, write three talking bullets rather than memorizing a script. Put the phone at eye level, turn on the grid, place our eyes near the upper horizontal line, face a window and choose a quiet spot. Record a short sound check. Try a 30–60 second practice take, then one more if useful. Record again when accuracy, clarity, or sound needs fixing; two takes is a starting exercise, not a quality limit. A hands-only demonstration or a readable text post is an equally valid choice.
- Spend 3 minutes opening yesterday's question and writing three bullets: the short answer, one concrete example and one useful next action.
- Spend 5 minutes making the post in the simplest format available. Use our own material or material we have permission to use.
- Spend 3 minutes adding a relevant invitation and checking phone readability, captions if needed and privacy.
- Spend 3 minutes publishing the checked post and saving its live link. If unfinished, label it Draft and move the publishing appointment. It does not count among the six published posts yet.
- Spend 3 minutes checking that our profile and post are visible to the intended audience. Find one place on the same platform where buyers ask this question and read its participation rules. Save the place and one allowed action for Day 7; do not drop a promotional link.
- Spend 3 minutes recording post status and publication time in Post snapshots. Choose a time about 48 hours later to record available counts. Use not known if a measure cannot be checked.
Your worksheet
Write your answers in a private note.
- What one decision or action will this post help someone make?
- Which format can we complete with what we already have?
- What is the one clear next step at the end?
Small version
In 10 minutes, publish a clear text answer or caption on the existing platform, with one relevant next step. If the offer path is still broken, save the draft and use the block to fix it.
